Actor Alimi Ballard is allegedly heading for a second divorce after going through an extended rough patch in his marriage with his present wife Dahn Ballard.
Alimi and Dahn had been reportedly having difficulty in their marriage for quite a while now. It is being said that their two children were the only reason they were staying together. Sources claim that Alimi and Dahn announced their plans of separation to their close friends and family a week back.
However, no one was taken by surprise as everybody close to the couple knew that they were already moving towards a separation, claim sources. Some have even said that they were surprised as to why it took them so long and it would have been best for them both if they had separated way earlier.
Alimi and Dahn first began having problems a year or two back, it still remains unclear as to why the commotion actually started, but an insider has said it is most likely due to a rumor that Dahn was cheating on Alimi with multiple partners.
Sources close to Alimi have said that when Alimi first found out about his wife’s affairs, he became extremely depressed. However, he deiced to forgive her for the sake of their children. But she apparently continued on with her cheating. It soon became unbearable for Alimi and he decide to opt for a divorce.
Alimi and his wife Dahin first met about ten years back and began dating. They were introduced through a mutual friend. Alimi has been known in the past to praise his wife for being a wonderful mother to his children and an ever loving wife.
However, after the situation turned sour for him, he has refrained himself from commenting on his marriage and has been avoiding the media lately.
Alimi, on a professional scale, has gained huge success in his career so far. He has already been a part of over thirty different shows on TV. He has also widely been accepted as a prized asset by many studios like ABC and CBS.
He was recently cast as one of the main characters in an upcoming TV show, a legal thriller named “The Catch”. In 2015, he was praised for his work in “Call me King”.
