Decorated American actor Oliver Platt, who has been a Golden Globe and Emmy award winner, hopes to retire early from acting so he can travel the world with his wife, Mary Camilia Bonsal Campbell.

Oliver while talking to our sources has said that he hopes he can retire as early as his sixties and travel the world with his wife and children. He has said that he wants to travel the whole world, starting with South America, sources claim.

He has also said that he wants to visit as many countries as he can and is especially excited about visiting South Asian countries, claim our sources. He has three children, two daughter’s Lily and Claire and a son George.

Oliver has also hinted at his dissatisfaction with his hectic schedule which does not give him sufficient time to take holidays with his family, according to our sources. Sources said that Oliver is always looking forward to the family holidays as he loves spending time with his family.

He has also allegedly said that at the end of the year, he will be taking an extended holiday with his family. However, they have not decided on their destination yet. But, he reportedly wants to go to southern Europe and the Mediterranean.

Oliver and his wife Mary were married in 1992 on September 12. Earlier to his marriage, Oliver was a theater actor. But after marriage, to meet the household expenses, he began focusing on TV and movie roles, where he seemed to be more talented and on demand as an artist than in the theater.

Oliver also hinted that his children and his wife have been asking him to take some time off so they can spend some quality time together as a family. But he has been very busy last year with his commitments to various TV shows.

He was cast as a series regular on Chicago Med, and The Good Wife. He also was seen making cameo appearances on shows like “Modern Family”, ”Chicago Fire” and “American Experience”. He also starred in the TV movie “Bessie”.

This year, Oliver is going to be making his presence felt in the movies. He has four films which are scheduled to release this year. In the first movie, “Frank and Cindy”, he is portraying the main role of Frank Garcia.

He is currently filming “The 9th Life of Louis Drax” and “Shut In”. Both movies are scheduled to release within this year. His other movie “When I Live My Life Over Again” is currently under Post-Production and is set for a summer release.

Oliver is fifty –five years of age and stands at a height of 6 feet 2 inches. Oliver’s net worth is estimated to be around $4 million dollars.
