What is the first thing that comes to your mind after hearing Fixer Upper?
Joanna and Chip Gaines undoubtedly.
The Texas-based show, which works with clients on buying and remodelling their homes has gained immense appreciation for two reasons. Never seen like before concept and the couple who are husband and wife in real life.
The show, that is aired on HGTV has Joanna Gaines and Chip Gaines being the perfect couple and business partners. And it does not look hard either- with Chip being the lead contractor and Joanna designing it after a couple chooses their home. Both of them have earned immense appreciation(also wealth) with their net worth together rising up to $1.5 million in 2015. You have doubts then just look around their house.
This vast property which is a 100-year-old has a farm(that is about 40 acres and more than 60 animals in there) and a tree house too.Magnolia Homes ; as their place is fondly called is literally a paradise in itself.
Joanna Gaines started this business of flipping houses into beautiful homes and after the couple got married in 2003 they combined to make it a joint effort. In an interview, they revealed that after they got married Joanna realised that Chip complemented her passion for renovating and his experience was an added bonus to her career. So both of them united to flip a home and it was such a huge success and boot up for their career that HGTV channel approached them with the show- Fixer Upper. Unplanned ideas make the best projects hmm.
Interestingly though both of them went to the same university- Baylor University and did not meet each other at all. It was later when Chip saw her photo for the first time he just knew she is the one and now they have a happy family of four kids who are two girls and two boys namely called- Drake, Ella, Duke, and Emmie.
Have often heard that the husband and wife make a great team, but Joanna and Chip actually are literally giving us goals as life partners be it professional and personal life.Actually, they give new definitions to marriage and career choices,
