Baseball star turned coach Matt Williams seems have failed once again in his married life. He is now allegedly heading for a third divorce. His present wife, Erika Monroe Williams, has filed a divorce against him, claim sources.

Sources claim that Erika filed for divorce after she got to know that Matt had been cheating on her with a number of women for the past couple of years. Matt, however, has yet to acknowledge the accusation and has refrained himself from making any comments on the subject.

However, over the years, Matt had been spotted with more than one woman at several locations looking cozy together. Erika has been very outspoken about the incidents with her close friends and family, claim sources.

Sources also have said that Matt does not seem to be affected deeply, but has been feeling a bit low lately.

Matt, as a professional baseball player, has been one of the most distinguished players in the recent years. His career spanned over fourteen years and he played for three different teams “San Francisco Giants”, “Cleveland Indians” and “Arizona Diamondbacks”.

Matt also managed the Washington Nationals team through 2014 to 2015. He managed to secure 179 wins and 145 losses, which proved to be very bad stats for the team and resulted in matt getting fired from the post of manger.

As a professional baseball player, Matt had impressive stats among his peers. He had a batting average of .268 and hit 378 home runs in total. His total runs batted were 1,218. He is a World Series champion and has been part of the All Star team on five different occasions.

He is also a recipient of the Golden Glove Awards on four different years. He has received the silver slugger award four times too. In 2009, Matt was eligible for induction into the national Baseball Hall of Fame, but having failed to secure the necessary votes and was dropped from the ballot.

Matt’s golden years in the game were from 1994 to 1996 when he hit 43 home runs – that year’s best for the national league. He also held an impressive 96 runs batted in the same year. Matt’s first coaching job was with his last professional team, the Arizona Diamond backs. He began coaching as a first base coach and eventually moved to third base.

Matt’s has also tied hosting pre-game shows for his team Arizona, which he is also a part owner of. He, along with his wife, hosted the “Dbacks on Deck” re-game show in 2007. But, after receiving unfavorable reviews, they decided to discontinue with the hosting.

Matt has been nicknamed “Matt the Bat“ for his immense strength and how at ease he was while hitting home runs.
