After the accident, Fox put out a statement saying,

Dylan O’Brien was injured yesterday while filming ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ in Vancouver, Canada. He was immediately transferred to a local hospital for observation and treatment. Production on the film will be shut down while he recovers. Our thoughts go out to Dylan for a full and speedy recovery.

Dylan O’Brien’s has been on the recovery stage, his injuries are healing well, and production on Maze Runner: The Death Cure has been suspended indefinitely while he recovers.

20th Century wished him for a speedy recovery, “We wish Dylan a speedy recovery and look forward to restarting production as soon as possible.”

Dylan O’Brien also stars in the TV series, Teen Wolf. The star is still recovering from the injury he suffered on sets of Maze Runner, while the new season of Teen Wolf, season 6 is currently filming.

Teen Wolf producers are considering an option to handle Brien’s part on Teen Wolf without having him to die. Rumors suggest that One Direction singer Harry Styles, who had already been recruited for a Teen Wolf role, will be taking over the character of Stiles until Dylan is able to return to the role.
