American film director and producer, Doug Liman is best known for his movies including Swingers, The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Jumper, Fair Game and Edge of Tomorrow.

The 50 years old director, who has already lived half a century, has no relationship history till date. Neither he has married any woman, nor has he dated any girl. At this age, while many celebrities are living their lives with their wife and children, Doug Liman is not even dating a girlfriend. This year while many celebrities are filing for divorce and ending their relationship, Doug Liman has not even begun his relationship with anyone.

Because there was no news of his link-ups with any actresses or movies personality, it was speculated that he might be gay.

In an interview by Stella Papamichael which was published in , when asked what would he do if there are five minutes left till the end of the world, director Doug Liman replied saying:

“Go find my girlfriend.”

Director Liman is not gay, but a straight guy who is waiting for the right woman in his life. The 50 year old director is single currently but is willing to find his partner soon.

The incredibly energetic director started making short movies while he was young when he studied in junior high school. His passion for film making led him to International Center of Photography in New York City for his further studies.

 In 1988, Liman attended University of Southern California for the graduate program where he got the opportunity to work on his first project. He made his directorial debut in the 1994 comedy thriller Getting In starring Andrew McCarthy and Stephen Mailer.

Liman’s career took off when he directed the low-budget comedy movie about struggling actors, Swingers, which became a grand success and received critical acclaim as well. Liman gained further commercial success from his movies including The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Jumper, Fair Game, and Edge of Tomorrow.

Apart from movies, Liman has executive produced and directed many episodes of successful TV shows including Fox prime time drama The O.C., NBC’s television series Heist, and  MTV’s television series I Just Want My Pants Back. He has also produced two original series on the USA Network which are Covert Affairs and Suits.

In 1996, Liman won the MTV Movie Award for Best New Filmmaker for the movie Swingers. In 1999, he was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Director for his movie Go.

American director and producer Doug Liman is also a co-founder of BTV and NACB. He serves on the boards of the Legal Action Center, Symphony Space in New York City. He is also involved in his father’s Arthur Liman undergraduate fellowship program. He has an estimated net worth of $50 million.
