Million Dollar Listing New York star Ryan Serhant is really head over heels with his ladylove as he sweeps his girl off her feet with his charms.
Serhant, last September, shut down the Times Square to romantically propose to the love of his life, Emilia Bechrakis. With the help of the Mayor’s office and 50 NYPD officers, he shut down New York’s Time Square. All the right friends, in all the right places. He popped the question to his girlfriend, a Greek lawyer in middle of the Square- and she said ‘YES’!!
The 30 year old posted a picture of him; down on his knees, with a custom-made radiant-cut diamond ring in his hand, proposing to the one woman of his life. He captioned the snapshot, 'We had the heart of this city completely to ourselves. Like I've always said… GO BIG OR GO HOME.' He just took proposals to a new height. Well, he is definitely knows how to live up to his words!!
Everything went as planned. To this, 'It worked!' Ryan exclaimed. 'This is the most incredible day! Words really can’t describe what I’m feeling', he said. A man, in business-like attire, kneeling down in at an empty Time Square (which is otherwise crowded with people) was a pretty amazing sight to see!!
Well, this was not first time he did something ‘romantically amusing’ to express his love. Serhant, previously surprised his girlfriend with a dance flash mob in the middle of Central Park. It was filmed for an episode of MDLNY. He said he wanted to do something special for his girl. His exact words were, “I wasn’t going to propose like a p—sy.” He told E! News, 'No one has ever done something like this. But I’m going to propose once in my life, so I wanted to make sure that I did something special.' Looks like the MDLNY star is pretty obsessed with surprising his lady love by showcasing such grand gestures, every now and then.
He reflected back at moment he got engaged. The moment he knelt down and proposed to his sweetheart. He posted on his Instagram:
"After I proposed, and @emilia_bechrakis stopped crying for a few minutes, we still had Times Square all to ourselves so the orchestra, which was playing a version of Little Talks by Monsters and Men (her favorite song) by the way, gave us our own little concert. So there, a little girl from Greece and a little boy from Texas, stood next to the NYPD police barracks and had the heart of this incredible city all to ourselves."
