She may not be a hot sexy Hollywood celebrity, but the MSNBC anchor Alex Witt is one great girl. She was apparently on news after it was reported that there were some troubles in her marriage. Ale Witt is currently married to the TV producer Bill Sorensen and if the gossips were to be heeded, they were apparently desperate to move on.

However, it turns out to be a fake rumor. Well, well, well.... gossips can actually be very misleading? There were rumors that Sorensen was having an affair with a co-worker. But both Witt and her husband Sorensen clarified that that was indeed not the case. The two had apparently been dating for some time before her boyfriend turned into his lifelong partner.

She was also recently in news after an old friend shed some light that she (Alex Witt) had actually not paid Jones, now a thriving lawyer based in New York City. She had reportedly written a massive check of $65000 and that too, at an interest of 7.5%. Jones says that during that time, she never felt Alex Witt would fail to pay the debt.

Witt has remained silent regarding this matter, but we believe these rumors may not be true either. And even if it is, it Witt will certainly clear the debt now. After all, she did recently sign a contract of around $20 million, so this must be settled. Plus, her net worth and salary is more than enough to clear her debts.

Witt was actually born in the beautiful city of Paris, France. However, she grew up in Hancock Park, a posh neighborhood situated in the outskirts of Los Angeles. Her father is a noted thoracic surgeon whose profession is based in Los Angeles.

Witt went to the Marlborough School for Girls in Los Angeles and then continued her studies at the University of Southern California. There, she majored in journalism and international relations. And not surprisingly, has based her career in the sector.

Witt has served as a field producer for the Today Show, worked for KCBA in Salinas, California as well as other places which include KCBS-TV, KNBC-TV,KABC-TV. All of these workplaces are located around Los Angeles. Witt has been with MSNBC since 1999, which can be considered a very long time since anchors usually change their work stations momentarily. She is currently the anchor for Weekends with Alex Witt and contributing anchor for MSNBC Live. Alongside Fred Grandy, she co-hosted Daily Cafe on Retirement Living TV.

Witt is also related to George Washington. And as they say, family blood blah blah... Witt has been on the news for a number of different political reasons including her radical views that were not supported by many people. To chart the family tree, she is a second cousin to George Washington through a link between Bailey Washington. Witt is also a very active member of the National Society of Washington Family Descendants. She is on both Twitter and Instagram.
